Education Scholarships

Secondary education in Tanzania has only recently become available tuition-free. However, associated costs still make schooling impossible for many youth. AMSO provides scholarships and necessary financial aid to qualified students, so that they might attend secondary boarding school.

Completing secondary school provides great opportunities for young Maasai. In addition to getting an education which greatly increases opportunities for employment, their classes are taught in English. Knowledge of English alone can increase job opportunities in the tourism sector.
