As a result of a 2007 ban on agricultural production with the Ngorongoro conservation area, the resident Maasai communities have been suffering severe food scarcity. AMSO is made up of a team of dedicated local Maasai committed to bettering their community by providing essential services and battling the growing rate of poverty.
